Reverse Masking

Reverse Masking with Betsy's Blossoms
Our June Technique challenge is called Reverse Masking
I thought this card looked a bit tropical with some snips of
card stock tucked behind the flowers.
I used the Ovals Big Shot Die
(Seriously not sure sure why they retired that die)
I ran a piece of transparency film through the big shot with the ovals die
using the largest oval.
I like to use Transparency film because it's thin and i can use it over and over.
But you can also use card stock it works just fine.

I then used our Stampin sponges to lightly sponge Marina Mist ink
all the way around the oval keeping the center white.
Then I sponged just a little around the edges with the new In-Color
Midnight Muse. (Hmm I wonder what a muse is?)
Anyway back to my card.
Then I sponged just little Daffodil delight in the center.
I used the Betsy's Blossoms stampin around wheel
on the inside of my card.
Card base is made with Certainly Celery. The next layer is Midnight Muse.
On the left side is is also Certainly Celery layer used in the
Square Lattice Embossing folder.
Hope you like my card.
